Focus

Our focus is centered on reducing greenhouse gas emissions with the aim of mitigating global warming and keeping it below the 1.5°C limit by the year 2050.

While we acknowledge that there are other goals that also require urgent attention, we believe that as architects, this is where we can make a more significant impact.

Method

Whole life carbon approach: Acting throughout the entire construction lifecycle.

Effective circularity: Evaluating and rehabilitating existing assets. Reusing, increasing density, and introducing new uses.

Sustainable materiality: Design with low embodied carbon materials that also create a positive social and economic impact, such as wood.

Energy neutrality: Design buildings that are healthy and have net-zero energy consumption.

Commitment: Researching, educating and advocating for climate action.
