Commitment
Climate change represents a serious threat to the economy, nature, and society at large. In particular, the construction industry and buildings are responsible for nearly 40% of CO2 emissions, significantly contributing to this issue.
As architects, we have transformative tools that can mitigate this negative impact and even create opportunities for a positive influence.
At 4×30 , we commit to:
1 Assessing the CO2 emissions of our projects throughout their entire lifecycle, including those generated by all our own operations.
2 Aspiring to reduce these emissions to the extent necessary to limit global warming to 1.5°C, setting an ambitious target.
3 Encouraging our clients and collaborators to embrace this sustainability approach.
4 Annually reporting on our progress and reviewing our ambition, seeking to expand it as much as possible.
